A Historic Live Stream: August’s Celebration Of Jerry Garcia

Jerome John Garcia or popularly known as Jerry Garcia was the late lead vocalist and the principal songwriter of a rock band called the Grateful dead. He was born on August 1, 1942 in San Francisco, California U.S. and died on August 9, 1995 at the age of 53 in Forest Knolls, California USA. He was already influenced by music during his early age. He took some piano lessons which her mother also enjoyed the most. His father was also a retired professional musician.

 After his father died by an accident who happened to be drowned in a river while they were having a vacation with the whole family, his mother Ruth took over of the bar which was their family business. Her mother then let jerry and his brother lived her parents nearby. During those time with his grandmother jerry got influenced and opened up to country and bluegrass music. That was also the time when he started to play his first stringed instrument called banjo.

 In the year 1965 up to the year 1995 he was found to be active in his performance with his band and performed in a lot of places in the U.S. He was also participated in other projects with the Saunders with his friend Meri Saunders, the Jerry Garcia band, Legion of Mary and the New Riders of the Purple Sage. He also released many solo albums with other artists as a session musician.

Jerry was best known for his ability to play different kinds of instruments. And popularly known for his distinctiveness in playing the guitar which made him ranked as the number 13 in the 100 best guitarists in all time which was the cover story in the Rolling Stones magazine in the year 2003. And later in the year 2015 he ranked number 46.

This month of August a celebration is scheduled for the late Jerry Garcia.  A historical tribute to him for his great contribution to the music industry. During this tribute, exclusive live video performances will be featured. Many fans are excited in this project. Most probably they wanted to listen and most likely like being travelled back in the past. People always found it good to listen to his music like Blues rock, Psychedelic rock, folk rock, country rock, jam rock, bluegrass and roots rock name your choice and you can have it listened in this celebration.
